 ❝Dance as a Critique of Consumer Society❞
Are we living to buy, or buying to live? TOB GROUP integrates rap, text, and stage magic to articulate the emptiness of overwork and hyper-consumption. With distinctive objects and storytelling, choreographer Min Kim—recognized at Edinburgh Fringe (Guardian Top 50) and European competitions—presents a new vocabulary of contemporary dance.

❝Personal Narratives as Social Testimony❞
This work stages the monologue of a demolition worker through light, shadow, and object theater. Following traces of memory, it addresses erasure, survival, and death. See.aht_project is known for expanding intimate stories into socially engaged theater, provoking audiences to reconsider the ethics of labor and existence.
ADG7 | Next Journey
| Date: Oct 18 (SAT) 15:00, 19:00
| Venue: Seoul Namsan Gugakdang Crown Haitai Hall
❝K-Traditional Music on Global Stages❞
For its 10th anniversary, Ak Dan Gwang Chil presents Next Journey—a bold exploration of tradition in contemporary form. By fusing shamanic and folk roots with new performance languages, the ensemble has already reached WOMEX and Glastonbury. This work signals their artistic vision for the next decade of Korean music on the world stage.
Cheongnyeondan x Inky LEE | Light Trees
| Date: Oct 28 (TUE) – Oct 29 (WED), 19:30
| Venue: SFAC theater QUAD
❝Tracing Violence through Light and Silence❞
Beginning with the distortion of Japanese military sexual slavery history, <Light Trees> interrogates violence as it erases light and color. Incorporating sign language, sensory design, and the perspective of deaf artists, the work offers a “relaxed performance” format, extending accessibility while reimagining theatrical language.
Cornerstone | Yutnori: The Game That Nobody Plays These Days
| Date: Nov 6 (THU) – Nov 7 (FRI), 20:00 / Nov 8 (SAT) 15:00
| Venue: Korea National University of Arts Lee O Young Art Center
❝Life is but a single throw in Yutnori game.❞
Reimagining playwright Yoon Jo-byeong’s 1981 text, this performance uses Yutnori, a traditional Korean board game, as a metaphor for life’s cycle. Life and death, past and present, intersect through minimal staging—chalk boards, wooden sticks, and live vocal performance. Cornerstone Theatre emphasizes collective meaning-making by reconstructing theater as a shared house.
