This program aims to share a wide range of information in the field of performing arts, both in Korea and abroad, while fostering exchange and collaboration among market participants.
At PAMS Salon, you can take part in a forum on Circulation—a performance that reflects the vision of the Seoul Performing Arts Market—as well as Open Talk sessions where domestic
and international organizations, festivals, and participants come together to exchange ideas and build partnerships.

[PAMS] Sustainability of performing arts and circulation in polycrisis era

In the polycrisis era, the performing arts face complex challenges, including rapid political and social changes, reduced financial support, the pandemic and climate crisis, and restrictions on exchange caused by wars and conflicts. This Salon brings together experts from agencies, festivals, and theatres to explore how the performing arts can ensure sustainability, how circulation can be maintained in a changing environment, and how institutions and festivals have adapted to these shifts. Together, we will reflect on the future of the performing arts and the possibilities we can create.

[PAMS x YPAM] Perspectives of Three Emerging Professionals in Japanese Performing Arts

Three performing arts professionals based in Toyohashi, Okinawa and Tokyo will share insights into the creative landscape of their respective regions and the works they promote. Particularly, the presentation will focus on the effort of the theatre in Toyohashi to promote accessible performances, the contemporary traditional theatre scene in Okinawa, and contemporary theatre/dance works of emerging artists. The three professionals are taking part in the Training Program for International Performing Arts Coordinators of Ko-Bun-Kyo (The Association of Public Theaters and Halls in Japan) and YPAM (Yokohama International Performing Arts Meeting).

[PAMS x HKPAX] Hong Kong 2026: A Hub for Creative Talents and Exchange

Discover the vibrant tapestry of artistic excellence in Hong Kong at this salon, where theatre, music, dance, and multidisciplinary arts converge. Gain first-hand insights from a diverse group of artists as they share their visions and creative practices—witness creativity in action! Another exciting highlight is the return of the Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo (HKPAX). Following its successful 2024 edition, which brought together over 1,600 arts practitioners from more than 60 regions and featured 150+ events—including performances, talks, and networking sessions—HKPAX will return from 9-13 October 2026. This landmark event will once again unite artists, producers, presenters, creative professionals, and institutions to celebrate innovation and artistic exchange. This salon session invites international presenters, artists, and arts practitioners to engage with Hong Kong’s creative voices and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

KAMS ACADEMY, the arts industry academy developed by the Korea Arts Management Service, operates specialized educational programs designed to foster talents and businesses in accordance with industry needs. Its key objectives include step-by-step workforce development and strengthening organizational and business management expertise so as to secure growth from within the community. By nurturing professionals and developing new strategies for the sustainable growth of the performing arts ecosystem, This year, we will share the achievements of the training program and host a special lecture on a plan for overseas expansion required for the next generation of performing arts professionals.
